June Now Proclaimed as  “Careers in Roofing Month”

Tate Reeves Signed proclamation

Graham Roofing asked the state of Mississippi to proclaim the month of June “Careers in Roofing Month” and on June 9th, 2022 the proclamation was granted! This designated month is designed to help increase the public awareness and appreciation of roofing crafts and professionals. The roofing industry is one of our nation’s largest industries employing hundreds of thousands of individuals and we are excited to see the impact Careers in Roofing Month makes on the roofing industry!

Thank you Lieutenant Governor C. Delbert Hosemann and Governor Tate Reeves for the opportunity to grow knowledge in our industry!

  • We encourage everyone to share the proclamation on all social media sites. Also, please share with your employees to let them know how much value they add to the construction industry. After all, the roofs cover the building owner’s biggest assets!
  • So far Arizona and Mississippi are the only two states with ‘Careers in Roofing’ month and we would love to get this information out to show other state leaders how to recognize and celebrate roofers. Lt Gov C. Delbert Hosemann designated the 1st week of June in coordination with NRCA’s Roofing Week.  Gov Tate Reeves designated the whole month for careers in roofing month. Graham Roofing is hoping this small step can lead to something much larger for the roofing industry!
