At Graham Roofing, keeping our people, our clients and our structures safe is paramount. We have a detailed written safety program that is the backbone of our safety operations on our jobsites and is continually updated.
Graham Roofing consistently has EMR scores far below the industry average. EMR's, or Experience Modification Ratings, are used by insurance companies to measure the cost of injuries and future chances of risk. Our OSHA Incident Rating for accidents is also well below the national average.
Every year since 2010, Graham Roofing has earned Platinum, Gold or Silver "STEP" Awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) is a merit-based award for contractors from contractors. We've been honored for Excellence in Risk Control by CNA Insurance. And in 2014, one of our managers was honored as Safety Professional of the Year in Mississippi.
Graham Roofing has an exceptional training program that goes far beyond industry standards. We train employees in CPR and first aid; crane, forklift and aerial-lift operations; CERTA (torch); GHS HazCom; asbestos (roofing); scaffolding; we require every field employee to have a minimum of 10 hours of OSHA training - that's not legally required, but we insist on it anyway.
